Happenings

Summer 2008:
The Telein Group proudly celebrates its 20th Anniversary by signing a multi-year pact with national electricity utility company of South Africa.

The Telein Group, Inc., is excited to share with you the news of our recent signing of a three-year contract with the Phirwa (Jacob) Maroga, Chief Executive of Eskom Holdings Limited, Johannesburg, South Africa, the national electrical utility company of The Republic of South Africa. Eskom generates, transmits, and distributes electricity to industrial, mining, commercial, agricultural and residential customers, and redistributors. Their core markets are South Africa, The Southern African Development Community (SADC), and the remainder of the African Continent.

The signing of this contract coincides with our 20th Year in business, and calls for us to work with Jacob and the Eskom leadership team to transform their leadership and business. We will provide advice and counsel, complemented by our copyrighted processes, tools, and educational workshops.

As we embark on this experience of a lifetime, we are filled with excitement about the enormous opportunity to add VALUE to South Africa's Visionary Leadership in its adolescent democracy, which has a Constitution that dares to guarantee more freedoms than ANY in the world, and whose preamble has a tenet that declares the requirement to improve the quality of life of all citizens and free the potential of each person!! We believe this engagement is the opportunity to which our vision has led us, and for which our experience has prepared us!!!

April 2007: Telein invited to lead “Integrated Life” Interactive Workshop at the 9th Annual Work Life Symposium sponsored by the Tuck School of Business and Dartmouth College Medical School.

Today there are hundreds of forces pulling us in many directions – two careers, the internet, cell phones, Blackberries, travel, globalization, multiple languages, diversity, media, etc. The challenge is how to make sense out of it all? There has to be a way to have a successful career, be a loving responsible parent/spouse/friend, to be a positive force in the world community and all the while ensuring a healthy, fulfilled self.

Telein CEO, Joseph Johnson, and three clients share tips. Their answers may surprise
you, and will certainly get you thinking differently about the pathway to creating a life
of meaning. They believe LIFEWORK integration is the goal vs. balance which
requires making trade-offs. This is a must attend workshop if you are seeking to
create LIFEWORK meaning.

September 2006: The Telein Group, Inc. has a new look!  After nearly 20 years as
an enterprise, our thinking and principles have evolved, and now we’ve redesigned
our logo and tagline to better represent who and where we are today! The theme of
our new brand image is “Vision, Integration, Abundance” – the three concepts most fundamental to our beliefs about achieving spectacular individual and organizational results and value. Our new logo portrays water – the ultimate necessary, powerful, renewable resource that is common to all living things – and uses colors from nature
to explain our concepts. Vision, we say, is like the yellow sun illuminating our way.
Green speaks of Integration, the bringing together of everything, in the way the
elements of nature work together harmoniously. And blue, we say, is a reminder of
abundance, as in the limitlessness of a clear blue sky.
